Recreational Team Leader (Full Time) duties:

You will be required to oversee the administration and management of the Recreational Gymnastics program in line with company procedures and policies, maintaining optimum profitability and customer satisfaction. Key duties include:

  • Act as the face of the gymnastics program by proactively being available for guidance, questions and feedback for members in peak gymnastics times.
  • Organise and lead regular team meetings for coaches with a focus on staff development and program improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to coaching staff and class participants in gymnastics.
  • GFA programs at SGAC consist of but not limited to; Recreation Entry level, Team Gym and School and Disability programs.
  • Available and willing to coach 25-30 hours a week in the GFA program

Gymnastics Coach duties:

As a Coach you will work with gymnasts to develop, improve, and polish their skills. You will:

  • Assist in the development and progression of gymnasts
  • teach, coach and deliver program in a positive, safe and fun environment
  • provide support to other coaches
  • communicate to children, parents and coaches on the progress of participants and maintain a high level of customer service

The ideal person will enjoy working in a team environment and have a genuine interest in educating kids about the benefits of this fun and energetic sport. You will plan and deliver challenging and developmentally gymnastics programs for children.

What you will need to be considered?

  • Advanced accreditation or higher
  • Previous technical experience in Recreational programs
  • Technical membership in the specified discipline
  • Demonstrated programming experience in a recreational gymnastics’ environment
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Working with Children Check
