OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
These positions require people-focused individuals with a capacity for good organisational skills and reliability and will involve equipment support and maintenance.
Assistants report directly to the Learning Leader - PE or the Outdoor Education Leader.
It is necessary for applicants to have:
First Aid Qualification - HLTAID003
Water Safety - Surf Life Saving Australia Bronze Medallion or Life Saving Victoria Community Surf Life Saving Certificate
It is preferable for applicants to have:
Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation
Light Rigid or Medium Rigid Heavy Vehicle Licence (Bus) (if possible)
Any one of - Flatwater Guide/Sea Kayak Guide/Whitewater Guide (if possible)
Successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. Successful applicants will be required to produce a current employee Working with Children Check and Police Check. This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.
