Exciting opportunity - Kids soccer trainers wanted

Grasshopper Soccer is Australia's largest non-competitive soccer program for children aged 2-12 and we are continuing to build a team of fun and enthusiastic soccer trainers to help run kids soccer sessions with term 1 commencing on 30th January 2021. There will also be an opportunity for the right trainer/s to progress to a coaching position where you would be responsible for running the session with the help of other trainers.

Job description:

• Setting up and packing down of each session (Goals, cones etc)
• Helping the children with basic soccer drills/games
• Helping to maintain a fun and safe environment
• Encouraging the qualities of Grasshopper Soccer

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Excellent with kids between the ages of 2-12 years
• Great team player
• Reliable and punctual
• Honest and trustworthy
• Great communication and listening skills
• Basic knowledge of soccer
• Leadership skills

Desirable attributes:

• Experience working with children
• University students working towards achieving a Teaching/Education Degree
• Previous soccer or soccer coaching experience
• Drivers license

Requirements (or willing to obtain):

• Working with Children's Check
• Australian Business Number (ABN)

Please note: We are looking for trainers to work 3 hours each Saturday and/or Sunday morning (depending on your availability).
